As part of the memorandum between QazCloud and NSPM school, high school students completed a career-oriented internship in our Automation and Development Department.
The initiative came from the students themselves — the Darts Project, aimed at finding and completing interesting and effective internships in large companies. During the internship, the students immersed themselves in the practical work of the Automation and Artificial Intelligence Development Department:
• drafted technical specifications,
• conducted comparative analysis of AI models,
• designed a future HR platform,
• developed a Telegram bot and mastered new technologies.
Roman Lefarov, Head of the Automation and Development Department at QazCloud:
"Well done! Back in my school years, I never even thought about internships in major companies. Special thanks to Dinmukhamed for his proactivity and organizational skills. The students’ work will not go unnoticed — we will use it as a productive basis for future projects. I wish you to keep your curiosity for new knowledge and courage in implementing your ideas."
Participants’ feedback:
— "This internship gave us very valuable experience. We developed teamwork skills, analytical thinking, learned how to set goals and achieve them. Now we are inspired for new projects," says Togzhan Kanatova.
— "At first, I was skeptical about the internship, but QazCloud employees considered our skills and preferences, assigning tasks individually. I was tasked with developing a Telegram bot, and I discovered many new libraries and technologies. This helped me decide on my future profession," shares Anuar Sharipov.
Such initiatives are part of QazCloud’s systematic HR work on developing human capital and supporting young talents in strategically important sectors of the country.
QazCloud also has memorandums with leading universities in Kazakhstan — Nazarbayev University and Astana IT University (AITU), providing students with opportunities for internships and practice, and offering graduates employment prospects in digital technologies.
This work aligns with the priorities of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund and the 2024–2025 roadmap, which emphasizes collaboration between portfolio companies and the system of school, higher, and postgraduate education. The goal is to form a talent pool, develop engineering and digital competencies, and foster students’ and schoolchildren’s interest in technologies and innovation.
